East Selkirk's East Side Sabres Timbits hockey team got the chance to show their stuff at the Winnipeg Jets vs Dallas Stars game on Nov. 10, 2019. In an action packed, 5 minute game between the first and second periods, the East Side Sabres stole the show and the hearts of thousands of Jets fans. In addition to sharing the ice with their idols, the Sabres met the NHL referees, hung out with Mick E. Moose, were treated to snacks and drinks, and got to watch the Jets warm-up from ice level. It was a wonderful treat for a wonderful group of hockey players!
